Only full-time, professional associates are brought on board and once affiliated with the firm, associates are provided with the services, research and resources necessary to become the most productive and informed agents in the Fresno market. We take great care in the recruitment and selection of our associates and then we nurture and maintain close personal relationships with everyone associated with the firm.

     Staying abreast of industry trends is another major ingredient of the success formula at Fortune Associates. A residential real estate firm since it’s inception, a down-turn in residential sales prompted the agency to convert to commercial sales and leasing in 1994. Since that time, Fortune Associates has become a major player in the commercial real estate market and is currently responsible for upwards of 30% of the local commercial real estate transactions.

     We are serious about this business and believe that our commitment to the industry has been instrumental in our success. The majority of our agents are involved with associations and groups designed to promote and strengthen the industry. Leading by example is Fortune Associates’ owner Larry Fortune. Fortune has served on the Board of Directors and been on most every committee of the California Association of REALTORS and Fresno Association of REALTORS. He was President of the Fresno Association and Regional Vice President of the California Association. Fortune has also received numerous professional awards and designations including being named “REALTOR of the Year” by the Fresno Association in 1989 and an “Honorary Director for Life” by the California Association in 1997. He has been involved with the National Association of Realtors, serving on their Board of Directors. Fortune is a GRI (Graduate of California Association’s REALTORS Institute) and has won the designation of CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) by the REALTORS National Marketing Institute of the National Association of REALTORS.
