Upon
graduating from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California
in 1984, John received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
and worked in Retail Management at Gottschalks Department Stores corporate
headquarters in Fresno.
In 1986 John began his real estate career as
a sales and leasing agent specializing in Office, Industrial, and Investment
properties.
In 1998 John joined the Fortune Associates
team, continuing to specialize in Office and Industrial properties.
Since starting in the Real Estate Business,
John has leased
and sold more than five million square feet of commercial, office and
industrial space and has been involved in sales transactions totaling
more than $80 million. John is a Consistent Performer. Currently John
has over $35 million worth of property listed on an exclusive basis
throughout the central valley.
In 2001, John achieved the SIOR designation (Specialist, Industrial
and Office Real Estate) awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office
Realtors, an international association of commercial real estate brokers.
Some of the Clients that John has represented include: Granum Partners,
Honeywell, Kaiser Permanente, Families First, Allstate Insurance, Scholastic
Publishing, Orkin Pest Control, Pacific Scene Properties, US Small Business
Administration, Standard Insurance Company, GE Capital and PG&E
Properties to name only a few.
John has completed numerous specialized Commercial
Real Estate courses including the following: Commercial Investment Real
Estate Council (CCIM) CI101,CI103, & C1104, Society of Industrial
and Office Realtors (SIOR) Brokerage I and II and is an Active Industrial
Member of SIOR. John is also a member of the East Fresno Rotary club
and currently serves on their Board of Directors.
